I’m thinking I’ll get one more wear out of these jeans this summer. I wore this to Saturday brunch with some great ladies. Sharon from The Tiny Heart invited a few NJ bloggers to her old stopping grounds in NYC for brunch. She’s as sweet in person as she is on her blog, I’m so glad we finally got to meet in person. Cat and I also had the pleasure to meet two other great bloggers, the lovely Tara and Kym. We chatted about everything from our blogs, beer and our neighborhoods! Our brunch lasted over 3 hours, a great indicator of a great time! Thank you Sharon for setting this up. I would have loved to share pictures of our brunch, but as I snapped a few outfits shots before heading out the door, I dropped my camera and it broke! I’m hoping I can get it fixed tomorrow because this is the LAST outfit shot I have.
Wish me luck!
Skulls have been around for a while, but have recently been more prominent thanks to the amazing creations of Alexander McQueen. They didn’t really call out my name until I came across this beauty during a Birthday Dinner at Beauty and Essex. The bag retailed for $2000.00, it just was WAY more than I would ever dream about spending on a trendy item like this. After much research, I found the maker of the bag – Shay Accessories, and found it retailing for $1500.00…still WAY out of my price range. Needless to say, I walked away disappointed, but with a new found love for skulls!
While doing some Birthday shopping I came across this top and knew I had to have it. Not the $2000.00 priced bag (that I STILL dream about) but at a reasonable price that I felt comfortable spending.
Would you have bought the bag? (Confession, I’m still considering it!)

I totally forgot I didn’t post my outfits while in Cancun. We were only there for a short time, so I only have a couple to share with you. While I love the short-with-heels trend, sometimes I feel like I’m too old to wear them. (May just be the uber conservative in me, I need to step outside my comfort zone) I decided to try them out while on vacay. Afterall, no one really knows me or my age there
Tell me, how do you feel about shorts with heels?
