Inspired by …J Crew 2012 September Catalog

I’ve had this page ripped out of the latest J Crew catalog and on my inspiration board for a couple of weeks. I finally was able to get out of bed on Saturday when we had a gorgeous day. I immediately grabbed my pink jeans (which I said I wouldn’t wear again till the spring…I lied). What do you think of my interpretation of this outfit?

Wine Tasting

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw a little preview of this outfit. It is by far one of my favorite, not to mention the most comfortable outfits I own. I wore this to go wine tasting with some friends in Jamesport. I purchased this dress during the F&F sale at Banana Republic a few weeks ago. I just couldn’t resist the stripes, they were just calling out my name…”Di, buy me buy me”. I swear you guys, that’s exactly what I heard. It also got brownie points from the bf, so I’ll be wearing this a lot. I also purchased these super cute booties after a long day at the office. I was walking back to the subway and happened to walk by a Payless and spotted these little cuties on the window. What drew me to them is that they have an elastic band around the ankles that fit me just perfectly, not to mention the price was just right! I swear, my ankles are the same size now as they were when I was one, so finding snug boots has always been an issue for me. I almost gave up on this trend until I found these….yay!

Cargo vest and stripes

I’ve dying to get a cargo vest for quiet some time now. Old Navy had a great affordable option last year, but it sold out soooo quick! Imagine my excitement when I found out they were re-releasing it this summer, but just as last time it sold out on line very quickly …sad sad. Well, I was on my way home last week and decided to stop by my local Old Navy JUST in case they may have it. Hidden behind all the cargo jackets was this little vest in my size! Yay! Truth be told, I wore it all weekend. This is one of the outfits I put together. Expect to see this vest often as I transition it into the fall.
