OK, even as a self proclaimed fashionista I have a little trouble trying new things. Truth be told, I’ve been wanting to try the “mix patterns” trend for a while (well it’s only been around for over a year!), but I just didn’t have the courage to do it, especially at work. I’ve seen stripes with flowers all over the place, so I think this works. I once again got “that” look from someone at work. Same person that told me I had highlighters on my feet when I wore this outfit, but whateves, I think it worked! What do you think?

I wore this to a friend’s 40th birthday party last week. I was actually going to return this skirt, but when I paired it with this top, I felt like I had a new dress!!! Cute right?
