This outfit was inspired by a post from Marion at Marionberry Style. I’ve seen this look in many J Crew catalogs, but was a bit hesitant since my office is fairly conservative. I decided to try it out on a Friday (our office is usually empty on Fridays in the summer…typical sales office). I opted for a cardigan too, I thought it made it a little more formal. What do you think? Would you wear a t-shirt to work?

I’d definitely wear a tee to work! (although my office is rather casual…there’s someone in a see through shirt today). Pairing it with a pencil skirt made it totally work appropriate.

I did wear a tee shirt to work today, and a similar black beads necklace. I think dressy tees are great mixers with pencil skirts and slacks, and can be dressed up or down.

You look really great in this outfit! I would definitely wear a t-shirt to the office. I don’t own very many, but I definitely should pick up a few more. The stripes make it seem dressier than your average tee. Really perfect look for work.

It can be weird wearing a t-shirt to work and I’m actually doing it today (only have worn one a couple times before!) Definitely wearing it with a more structured or dressy piece helps!
