Ok, I’m not huge into telling people how much I spend on things, but sometimes they are just too good to keep to myself. For example, this adorable outfit. I went out East to spend a quiet weekend with Frank, we had a great time. One of our “East” rituals is going to the Tanger outlets. Sometimes I walk away with nothing, but other times (like this past weekend) I make out like a bandit! This top at Banana Republic was $17 and this skirt at Michael Kors was $29! I couldn’t resist the prices at BR so I got 2 other similar blouses in black and a light pinky mauve (stay tuned for that outfit) I also picked up a necklace and a Kate Spade make up case. In total I spent less that $120 on 6 items!!! My sister is all about PPI (price per item). This means that my PPI was less than $20…amazing!

I don’t know about you, but this snow is really getting on my nerves.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to want to stop.  So you know what they say, if you can’t beat them join them.  As a result of my new attitude,  I’ve been on a massive search to find the perfect snow boots for work.  I can’t continue to cancel meetings .   I ended up getting these from Nine West for $50 (now 50% off at Nine West…click here to purchase).  I’m 5’2″ so flats are like a disease to me…I need some height.  These are perfect because they have a little height and they would look adorable with a dress, but they can easily fit under my work pants.
