Wear to the Office – Mixed Prints

OK, even as a self proclaimed fashionista I have a little trouble trying new things. Truth be told, I’ve been wanting to try the “mix patterns” trend for a while (well it’s only been around for over a year!), but I just didn’t have the courage to do it, especially at work. I’ve seen stripes with flowers all over the place, so I think this works. I once again got “that” look from someone at work. Same person that told me I had highlighters on my feet when I wore this outfit, but whateves, I think it worked! What do you think?

Purple and Khaki

Funny story about these shoes. I bought them from Piperlime MONTHS ago. Actually, I had meant to return them but they sat in a FedEx box in the trunk of my car for a long time. Once I finally realized that the return period was waaaay over, I took them out of the box. Thank God I decided I liked them again so here they are. They’re perfect any time I have to go to the city for work. I’m not usually a flats girl (hence the return debacle), but these are kind of fancy. Well, fancy enough to be work appropriate.

Pastels and Brights

It’s been so cold and gloomy around here, that as soon as the sun came out and it got a little warm I reached for all my brights. I’m not really sure if these two pieces go together (the skirt is lavender and the top is lime green), but I just had to put something bright on, so here it is. Does it match?
